Installation

  • Visit the EndNote website: https://endnote.com/downloads/
  • Download the appropriate installer for your operating system
  • Run the downloaded installer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  • Open EndNote 2025 after installation.
  • Sign in using your institute email ID.
  • Enter the product key/serial number (Click here)

EndNote Web: EndNote Web (or EndNote Online) is a web-based version of the EndNote application. You can use it to collect references anywhere you are logged on to the Internet.

Steps to create an EndNote Web Account

  • On Windows: click on Edit menu > select Preferences > Sync.
  • On MAC OS: click on the EndNote menu next to Apple icon, select Preferences/Settings > Sync.
  • Click the Enable Sync button to go to the EndNote online Login dialog.
  • Click the Sign Up button to begin the registration and activation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your signup. 
  • Be sure to note your login and password, as you will need these to log in to the new EndNote Web: https://web.endnote.com/login
